every year my school has a district arts festival. And us special seniors get to have booths displaying all our work we’ve ever done! Yayyy so these are pics of my display and other student work. Of course these pics don’t compare to seeing everything in real life! I also have indivdual pics of everything I’ve done this year. Jeeezz this was hell to scan and upload everything but i gotta show you guys

This is my friend Anne’s display. Her concentration had to do with her own personal mythology and life and death and i can’t really remember >< I love the meat one though!!

     

                   

 This kid is just freakin awesome. Idk his work is like a stream of conciceness on paper. And that board was probably about 7 ft high oO

My dear friend Anna! She did her concetration on the different aspects of teenage boys and king of made up a character for it. I wish i had close ups DX but as you can see, there’s him drinking an energy drink, being emo, have achne, the middle one is of him being a delinquent and she used her saved diciplinary referals in the background XD, smoking, listening to an ipod, playing video games. And she didn’t get any ribbons! But seriously it’s so good becuase all day groups of guys were coming up and pointing out to each other how they’re just like her paintings. But at least she sold a few :’D

And Anne and I helped her graffitti the background xD

This girl draws amazing old people! The one on the right, uuhhggggg not fair!

   

  

 My friend does collage on the computer and made these really big prints! Her concentration had to do with super  heroes! The laminated comics is the best ^o^

     

 

The eggs and carton are made out of fabric and stuffed

Okay then this weird girl’s display…

 

That’s a cereal bowl I madein sculpture! You pour the milk down the rainbow so it goes into both bowls at the same time!

   This is my clay bust i did. Looks kinda weird but i think i got mynose down. It’s like life size so it’s kinda creepy XD                 

SO my idea for my pictures that were “innapropiate” I decided to stab holes through the cardboard and make a peepshow! You through the eyesballs to see each pic. Then I had this blue tarp up to hide it on the sides. UNFORTUNATELY I still had to take them down ;____; I still got judged on them though and got 1st place for a mixed portfolio Also 2nd for my display,  1st for my blanket, and an honorable mention for my cereal bowl

   

 

Uhhh this is something I had to do this year called books of hope. Basically schools sponsor a school abroad (i guess only Uganda? idk) and students make books so the kids can learn. I copied mine from this book that shows you how totransform your t-shirts into… cool t-shirts?

It says “If holding a squid’s eye firmly while you cut off the tenticlesjust beneath digusts you, you can hold onto the tenticles instead while you cut off the head, but since they are very slippery, the chance to cut your fingers increases radically” really weird i know…

And this was a character i made up towards the beginning of the school year… he’s a little werewolf boy. The second ones are of him at the beach, really random i know… I want to make like a series of comics with him
